This is something that I don’t get.  If you are rich, why would you want to spend your money on edible gold to make your food … gold so that you can eat it?  While that might be beyond me, there is actually a spray paint that you can paint your food up with that is edible.

While I can get the one gold leaf on top of luxury food for decoration, I think that this is actually taking it a little far.  However, it can be fantastic for decorations and that is something that I understand.

However, if you want gold food that is still edible, this particular spray is it!

In the weird category we have … bows. Yeah. Bows. It is proof that if you wait a while, even the most heinous trend will find its way back. Shoulder pads, anyone?

Anyway, anyone who was even remotely aware of the 1980s should be familiar with this trend. Remember Madonna’s early, lace days? Remember Alyssa Milano before she starred as Amy Fisher and that slutty little flower, Lily, in the Poison Ivy sequel? Bow boasting babes, both of them — and now you can be, too!

What can we look forward to in the coming spring? Quite a bit, as always, especially in the way of trends. First up, we are going to look at what everyone will be doing with their eyes.

For one thing, rainbows are going to be all the rage, in that lots of colors will be showing up on ‘lids all over the world. Yellow, pink, lime: colors like this will have a place.

So will blue, but not like the blue many of us remember from the 1980s. Instead, look for dark, dramatic shades, like cobalt and gorgeous indigo colors.

The smoky eye still rains supreme, as well. However, they are no longer all about black. Keep on the look out for all kinds of variations on this dramatic look.

The little black dress – it has been reinvented so many times over and I can tell you for sure that people are constantly looking for a new way to reinvent the little black dress.  After all, right now it is actually losing a little bit of the appeal that it had way back when.
