Officially known as the Commuter Tie, it is specially designed to hold your iPod, and it will definitely be making waves in autumn and winter of 2009 and 2010.

The tie is one hundred percent decadent, woven silk. On the reverse side, it features a pocket perfect for holding an iPod or other MP3 player. Currently, the pocket is made to fit devices like the iPod Nano and other, similarly small players. There is even an extra loop which will make sure the wires are completely out of sight.

Contrary to what you may be thinking after seeing this picture, you are looking at the Mayfair Steamer Secretary Trunk — supersized version, no less.

In fact, Timothy Oulton, a Londoner who also happens to be a very notable furniture maker and antiques dealer, crafted the large steamer. It is both a luggage carrier and an oversized armoire.

We are always looking for the next big thing in interior decorating and home furnishing, and it looks like designer Pete Oyler may have come up with it, thanks to his Stretch Shelf.

Oyler graduated from the famed Rhode Island School of Design, and he definitely has his finger on the pulse of avant garde designs. These shelves — which come in a number of different designs and shapes — are made of aluminum and rubber. They are not only shelves, but they also actually look like works of art as they are hanging from your walls.

What makes it different from other shelves? Well, for one thing, they do not have any compartments. You just hang it on the wall in the shape that you prefer. They are perfect for housing oddly shaped items for a way cool look. In essence they are just like big rubber bands — but boy do they look cool!

So, you see this coffee table, and it looks pretty normal, right? You are probably sitting there wondering why this is the next big thing that every luxury lover and design fan will love, yeah?
