When it comes to hard days, what is generally the first thing that you think about when you get home?  For me, it is all about the bubbles and the awesome tub.  If you are in the money, I can tell you for sure that you need to get yourself a tub that is not only incredible looking but feels awesome and that is what this tub is all about.

These are the work of a collaborative effort with Allow Design, an Australian company of some renown. The collection between Rashid and Allow Design contains eight different designs and styles, and with each different style, you get a variety of cells in recurring patterns.

The tiles can be steel, raw steel, brass, titanium, or copper.

Contrary to what you may be thinking after seeing this picture, you are looking at the Mayfair Steamer Secretary Trunk — supersized version, no less.

To say the trunk is oversized would be an enormous understatement. However, its size is not the only thing it has going for it. It is an antique lover’s dream, for one thing. In fact, Timothy Oulton, a Londoner who also happens to be a very notable furniture maker and antiques dealer, crafted the large steamer. It is both a luggage carrier and an oversized armoire.

When you are at home, you can use it in just that way; it will certainly make a handsome addition to your study or living room, as you can plainly see. However, when you are traveling, it has all the functions of a secretary.

The trunk is handmade and features vintage cigar leather and a very durable wood frame. The look is completely vintage. Inside, it features a desktop you can pull down, a number of drawers, plenty of cubbies, bookshelves, and even wire management.

When I think of the kitchen, the last thing I think of is luxury – honestly and that is the wrong view to have as there are many different things that are luxury in the kitchen.  Take the Miele for example, this beautiful disappearing hood is something that every single chef needs – it is not only one of the most fashionable hoods in the world, but it moves the air really well.

The great thing about this particular motorized hood is that is comes with an integrated LED lighting that will create a soft, ambient lighting and the halogen lights will illuminate the cooking surface in which the hood is on.  The best thing about the Miele disappearing hood though is that it does – disappear back into the wall!

When you think about it – having a party is something that is not all that easy, especially if you are having a party in style.  That is why Young Sang Eun created dishes that are so chic, so fashionable and so beautiful that I think they are definitely something that every party-planner needs to have in their china-cabinet to bring out for dinner parties. 

Young Sang Eun is the type of designer that truly thinks outside of the box and that is exactly what I think he did right here … he thought outside of the box and that is what led him to this particular idea – having a plate that also serves as a place to put a bottle of champagne or wine. 

For those who are having a wine and cheese party, these are perfect additions and I certainly think that Young Sang Eun had the right idea here!

Part of the movie experience when you go to a movie is the flat screen – the huge flat screen.  What if there was a way that you could not only gain that movie experience in the form of a screen but also make it better by having a curved screen?  That is exactly what the Black Diamond II Curve is all about.  This particular screen is one of the few screens that are curved, which offers up a 30% wider viewing angle, which for us movie-watchers is amazing!

We are always looking for the next big thing in interior decorating and home furnishing, and it looks like designer Pete Oyler may have come up with it, thanks to his Stretch Shelf.

Oyler graduated from the famed Rhode Island School of Design, and he definitely has his finger on the pulse of avant garde designs. These shelves — which come in a number of different designs and shapes — are made of aluminum and rubber. They are not only shelves, but they also actually look like works of art as they are hanging from your walls.

What makes it different from other shelves? Well, for one thing, they do not have any compartments. You just hang it on the wall in the shape that you prefer. They are perfect for housing oddly shaped items for a way cool look. In essence they are just like big rubber bands — but boy do they look cool!

Found this beautiful mountain villa in Costa Rica (actually for sale for under $700,000) and decided that one day I’ll buy myself a second home in the Caribbeans. Gorgeous!
