Now, this might not look like the most comfortable lounger in the world, but it is one of those unique and different pieces that when you actually get it on it … you fall in love with it.  Personally, I think that the brand new Amniosense Chaise Lounger is a lounger you need to try before you doubt it.

Not only does it look pretty cool, but it is one of those loungers that has an LCD TV built right in along with the speakers.  So you really do not ever have to leave it, which is really, really nice.

Another cool thing that you will see is that the LCD panel actually allows you to control an iPod as well as Wi-Fi connections.

You guys can probably tell before I even say anything why this item caught my eye. Specifically, it is the Pineider Leather Clad Travel Desk, and it grabbed my fancy because, hey, I’m a writer!

It is a sad fact that in this day of laptops and text messages, no one really takes the time to write letters anymore, let alone to write anything longhand. Having a writing desk, whether it is made to travel or not, has practically become an eccentricity.

I really hope this product will change that trend.

Of course, this isn’t just any writing desk. It features fine Italian leather crafted in Florence and it comes with actual nibs — not just pens, nibs! Fourteen of them, as a matter of fact, as well as ink and a leather notebook filled with fine quality paper.

Contrary to what you may be thinking after seeing this picture, you are looking at the Mayfair Steamer Secretary Trunk — supersized version, no less.

To say the trunk is oversized would be an enormous understatement. However, its size is not the only thing it has going for it. It is an antique lover’s dream, for one thing. In fact, Timothy Oulton, a Londoner who also happens to be a very notable furniture maker and antiques dealer, crafted the large steamer. It is both a luggage carrier and an oversized armoire.

When you are at home, you can use it in just that way; it will certainly make a handsome addition to your study or living room, as you can plainly see. However, when you are traveling, it has all the functions of a secretary.

The trunk is handmade and features vintage cigar leather and a very durable wood frame. The look is completely vintage. Inside, it features a desktop you can pull down, a number of drawers, plenty of cubbies, bookshelves, and even wire management.

So, you see this coffee table, and it looks pretty normal, right? You are probably sitting there wondering why this is the next big thing that every luxury lover and design fan will love, yeah?

Well, do you see those wooden pieces bracketing the bright orange space? They actually slide together, creating what looks like a perfectly normal, though beautifully designed, coffee table, which opens up to create the amazing piece of furniture you see to your right.

The Peek-a-Boo coffee table is never quite what it appears to be, which is always fun when you are talking about home designs.

Costing about five hundred dollars, the surprising coffee table is made of Baltic birch plywood, which makes for a very splendid aesthetic. Within the table there are inner shelves, which allows for lots of space, be it for magazines to food, or even wine!

If it is one thing that the rich love, it is their closets.  Honestly, I think that every single master bedroom in any house or apartment that is luxury is going to have a HUGE walk-in closet.  Take Sex and the City – Carrie had to have herself one of the best walk-in closets in the world and to be honest, I think that Guiseppe Bacuso was really onto something when he designed this beautiful wardrobe.  This incredible ‘walk-in’ closet actually just looks like a wall of glass panels.

Actually, this is one of the best inventions in the world and it absolutely looks like pure luxury.  Whether you are looking for something that will just tide you over or you want something different, you should absolutely take a look at Guiseppe Bacuso latest and greatest design!

This wardrobe has everything form LED lighting all the way to 30 different colors that you can choose from … however, I would pick white as it goes with absolutely everything in the world!

Whenever I am looking for furniture for my house, I have to say that I look for the beautiful furniture that is more on the fashionable side versus the function size and that is exactly why I picked this piece!  Now, of course I do not own this piece in particular, but I own something just like it!  This piece is actually beautiful and I think it is totally cutting edge!

Not only does the lounger look incredible comfortable, but Marc Newson is a known fashion furniture designer that is definitely, definitely talented.  This piece was actually featured in a Madonna video as well, so you know that it is top quality!

So really – I have to admit that I am a bed whore.  I love beds of all shapes and all sizes and when I ran across a bed that lights up … well, come on, let’s just say I think that, that is pretty damn cool.

This illuminated bed is actually just one of the many pieces of furniture in the LED inspired collection and these beds are certainly not going anywhere.  This bed is from a French Designer, Philippe Boulet and he is known for refreshing old and vintage furniture and making it fresh and new.

Personally, I think that this bed looks incredible and while it lights up and that is nice, I think that the bed frame itself is something that I would definitely be in with.  The color is actually moon enhancing as well.  You can switch it up to different colors based on your mood by just a touch of a button!

So honestly, I think that when you are attempting to live in the lap of luxury, you need to show off some of the furniture and only get the best.  I have to say that I believe that this amazing 727 Jet Lounge is not only one of the greatest looking pieces of furniture I have seen in a really long time, but it is actually made of recycled furniture, so you definitely would be helping the environment when you purchase this beautiful piece.

Basically, Facundo Poj created this piece out of two Boeing 727 emergency exit doors.  The door honestly remains exactly the same and the aluminum of the doors is polished to show its brilliance and so you can actually see each and every detail.  The steel legs are from the emergency exit’s frame and the doors are positioned on a curve for ultimate comfort.

This piece is a very limited piece, there are only 10 flowing around the world and it will definitely cost you a pretty penny if you are looking to buy one of these!  Four thousand five hundred pretty pennies to be exact, but it’s totally worth it right?

When I first saw some of the pictures for the modern bedroom, I thought it was going to be something out of the Jetson’s, but honestly, the modern bedroom for 2009 is one of the greatest looking rooms in the world!  Not only is the furniture that is coming out this year a complete and utter surprise, but to be honest, it looks simply amazing!

Personally, I would have never come up with half of the designs that are coming out this year.  They have everything from strange looking chairs all the way to a bed that honestly makes me a little weak in the knees!  If you have not checked any of the 2009 anything out, you definitely need to!  There is a reason why furniture designers are around, they make our houses look amazing and with the newest bedroom layout for 2009, it is definitely amazing!
